Digital Footprints: What Parents Need To Know… and Do

On December 5 I had the privilege to present at a NJSBA event at Jackson Liberty High School. While my presentation was abbreviated due to time, I’m honored to have spent quality time with parents, board members, and distinguished guests.

The crux of this presentation is the need for parents to embrace the reality of social media, it’s functions, role in adolescent culture, and the positive power of creating a respectable digital footprint. The challenge for many parents is the lack of ability (often willingly) to understand why social media are important and beneficial for all of us.
